4th of July

I'd like to take a moment to shout out to all the people serving our country. I am grateful to live in a free country where I can create blogs that talk about whatever I want. I'm glad to be in a country that allows me to choose my religion and practice it as I please. I'm glad to have a country that lets us be who we want to be regardless of our ancestral background. Such freedoms came at a great cost to some, and I'm grateful for the sacrifices that make these freedoms a reality to so many people all over the world.

I love the United States of America!

You are so right. Freedom is never free. I'm glad you are glad to be in this country. As messed up as it is, it is still pretty great.

I too am grateful! I don't think I fully understand the sacrifice people make as well as their family.

I actually watched the new National Treasure movie around the fourth of July. Call me overly sentimental, but movies like that make me wish I understood our history a little better. It really pulls at my internal strings of desire to learn more!!!
